This wall, this whole area under the highway, is incredible.

Took this at about 7:00 this morning, under the I-395 on the Hill. Destruction/construction had momentarily ceased for this neighborhood. It was so peaceful. Just a few dog walkers and lots of sun. DC is still able to revert to an earlier, quieter version of itself on Sunday mornings. It’s the best time to be out.

Not so super Wednesday.
Is it really possible that this clown could end up as a general-election candidate for the presidency? Yikes. Viva Mexico, indeed.

We had a bunny living in our yard all summer. He was adorable and awesome. I loved watching him devour the crab grass and weeds in our lawn. There were rabbits actually throughout the neighborhoods uptown. I’d see them mostly in the morning, in pairs, hopping around from yard to yard. I haven’t seen our rabbit for more than a month now. Hopefully, he’s dug in somewhere, waiting for winter — getting ready to grace us next spring.
