It is a crazy beautiful morning in the Nation’s Capital.   The sun is shining, and spring is definitely in the air.  Woo-hoo!

PS:  dc space is a long-gone 80s live music-art storefront that was downtown, on lower 9th near F Street, I think — not far from the 9:30 Club’s old space.  A classic.

While this corner remains largely the same – lots of guys hanging out in the parking lot; a brisk business in something being done in the market/liquor/convenience store across the street – a block west, brand new multi-story glass buildings (plural) sport all kinds of upscale retail on their ground floors, including a Warby Parker.  And an absurdly expensive Glen’s Garden Market.  Who is going to shop here?  Not the parking lots guys.  Not folks who live here now.
